The 2024 NADTC Rural Community Innovations Transportation Planning Grant program awarded funds to 12 rural communities to support planning efforts to expand accessible transportation. 
Selected organizations received grants to engage in planning activities that identified transportation barriers, addressed current and future needs, established multisector partnerships and actively involved older adults and people with disabilities.

2024 Rural Community Innovations: Transportation Planning Grant - NADTC

This project was developed with funds provided by the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC). The NADTC is administered by Easterseals and USAging, with funding from the Federal Transit Administration and guidance provided by the Administration for Community Living.
Students from Cornell University's Design Connect took feedback gathered from our community and developed a final report for implementation by Schuyler County Transit.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) 
 is developing the 
Transportation Master Plan, in coordination with transportation agencies throughout New York. The Master Plan will define a long-range statewide transportation vision and will guide policies and priorities for New York State’s transportation system with an outlook to 2050.
