Schuyler County Transit is the public transportation system serving the villages of Burdett, Montour Falls, Odessa, Watkins Glen, and other areas in Schuyler County. Schuyler County Transit is committed to providing safe, convenient, and affordable transportation. Stops are made at Schuyler Hospital and Primary Care, Walmart in Watkins Glen, Tops/CVS, and the Human Services Complex in Montour Falls in addition to many other convenient boarding and departure points. Schuyler County Transit is operated under a contract with Schuyler County by The Arc of Schuyler, a not-for-profit organization providing supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

SERVICE ALERT

Weather Alert for Wednesday, March 15 

Due to the continuation of the storm,  Schuyler County Transit public transportation schedule has been modified as follows for Wednesday, March 15: The village connector services (Routes 1A and 1B) will operate as conditions allow. The Corning Connections service (Route 2) and Rural Routes service (Routes 3, 4, and 5) will not operate. Updates will be posted on this website.

Weather Alert for Tuesday, March 14 

Update: 3:16PM Due to road conditions, Schuyler County Village connector service will be suspending service at approximately 4:30PM.  The bus is currently in Watkins Glen heading to Montour Falls and will return to 12th & Porter Street ending transit service for today, March 14th.  For updates regarding bus location or general questions call: 607-535-3555.

Effective March 13, 2017

Due to construction at Primary Care, transit buses will not be pulling into Primary Care until roof construction is complete. Buses will wait the extra time at Schuyler Hospital.  Primary Care will be on request only and you must advise drivers of your return time. We apologize for the inconvenience and service to Primary Care will resume once roof construction is complete. If you have questions or need clarification please call 607-535-3555.
