Tips for Riders
Form a Bus Buddy Group, pick a destination and go out for coffee or lunch, run errands or pick up a few items at the store. Great benefits - you can navigate the transportation system together, you have someone to help you carry packages, and it can be a fun time out with friends!
For your safety, please:

Quickly take your seat

Do not change seats while the bus is in motion

Wait unitl the bus departs the bus stop before crossing the street

Refraing from engaging in unnecessary and distracting conversation with the driver

No pets with the exception of service animals

Stand back from the street or platform edge while waiting at bus stop
Please Remember to:

Arrive at the bus stop early; busses do not wait

Check the bus head sign to ensure the approaching bus is the vehicle servicing your stop. Ask the driver if you are unsure.

Do not eat, drink, smoke, or play excessively loud music

Secure your personal belongings and remember when shopping not to purchase more than you can carry. Please note that drivers are not able to leave the bus to assist with packages

Be sure that you have all of your belongings when you exit the bus. Schuyler County Transit is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
